Privacy Notice
AI Automation Lab is a small, independent educational project. This notice describes, plainly, what this site actually does today — not a generic template describing systems that aren't built yet.
What this site collects right now
The Lead Leak Audit is calculated in your browser, and it works the same whether or not you accept analytics. The answers you choose are not sent to our servers or to any analytics tool, and nothing you enter is saved once you close or reload the page. If you accept analytics, your final score and score band are also sent, as described below.
You do not need to provide an email address or create an account to see your complete result. The optional "email me my results" feature exists in the code but is currently turned off — it collects nothing because it isn't active.
Analytics — what's connected and what it collects
Analytics are optional and off until you choose “Accept analytics” on the notice shown on each page. Until you accept, and if you decline, neither PostHog nor Google Analytics is loaded and nothing is sent to them. If you accept, this site uses PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to count a small set of steps: the page being viewed, the audit being started, each question being answered (which question, not which option you chose), the audit being completed, the result being viewed (with your final score and score band), and clicks on the HighLevel link (with your score and score band). Each of these counts also includes the traffic source from the link you came from (UTM parameters) and technical details your browser provides: browser and operating system, device type, language, time zone, screen and window size, the browser's user-agent text, and the page address.
PostHog does not set cookies or use browser storage on this site. It uses a random identifier that lasts only until you close or reload the page. Session recording, automatic activity capture, heatmaps, error reporting and surveys are turned off. No name or email address is collected or sent by this site's analytics. As with any website, PostHog's servers receive your IP address when your browser contacts them. We have not independently verified how PostHog uses or stores IP addresses or works out location, so we make no promise about that here; see PostHog's own privacy policy.
If you accept, this site also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to its pages. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier), and Google receives the page address (including any campaign parameters), your IP address and your browser details. If you decline, or have not chosen, Google Analytics is not loaded, and any Google Analytics cookies from earlier visits are removed. We have not independently verified how Google uses or stores IP addresses or works out location, so we make no promise about that here; see Google's privacy policy.
Your choice. One choice covers both PostHog and Google Analytics. It is remembered in this browser (in local storage, under the name ail_analytics_consent) for up to 12 months, and then we ask again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline and analytics stay off. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Analytics choices” link in the footer of every page, or with the button below. Withdrawing stops further data being sent from your browser and removes Google Analytics cookies. It does not remove data already sent; those services keep it under their own policies, and you can email us at hello@getaiautomationlab.com with questions.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address, whenever a page loads. This happens whether or not you accept analytics.
A small script also still logs the same basic events to your own browser's developer console, for internal testing, but only when a special debug link is used — that copy never leaves your browser.
Affiliate links
If you follow a HighLevel link, you leave AI Automation Lab and HighLevel's privacy practices govern the information you provide there. AI Automation Lab may receive referral or conversion reporting through the affiliate program, but we do not control HighLevel's collection or use of information on its site. See our affiliate & editorial disclosure for how that link works and why it's there.
